Chrissy Curry Launches New Children’s Book, “Listen With My Little Hands,” And Announces Upcoming Website Launch​

Children’s author Chrissy Curry has expanded her growing literary catalog with the release of Listen With My Little Hands, a heartfelt children’s book that introduces readers to American Sign Language (ASL) through the eyes of a five-year-old girl. The story reflects on the use of sign language during infancy and underscores its lasting emotional value as a method of early communication. Dedicated to a mentor who inspired Curry’s appreciation for sign language, the book offers families a meaningful and accessible way to engage with nonverbal communication.

Curry, who has authored 22 children’s books to date, continues to gain recognition in early childhood literature. Her recent titles include The KINDNESS EGG HUNT, which celebrates an Easter-themed activity centered on compassion, and Simply Ask Away, a sentimental collection of questions posed by a curious young boy. Each page of Simply Ask Away is paired with illustrations that depict a mother and son in a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, showcasing a commitment to representation and inclusivity in children’s literature.

In addition to her current titles, Curry has committed to an ambitious release schedule with plans to publish two books per month. Her May releases, Zadie Zebra Zips Out Another Ahhhh-Chooo! and GRAMMA’s LOVE, will further expand her growing body of work, continuing her emphasis on early learning, creativity, and emotional storytelling. Her books are increasingly found not only through online platforms like Amazon but also in independent bookstores, pediatric clinics, emergency rooms, and family medical centers.

As part of her broader outreach, Curry recently held her first children’s book signing and author meet-and-greet at the Wordsmith Bookshoppe. The event allowed Curry to engage directly with young readers and their families. Reflecting on the experience, Curry shared, “It was such a rewarding experience to meet young readers and their families. Events like these give me the chance to connect with the people who enjoy my books and share the magic of storytelling.”

To further support her mission of making literature accessible in settings where children may benefit from a moment of peace or imagination, Curry is actively distributing her books to medical and clinical spaces. “My goal is to provide books that can be shared in places where children need a sense of peace, distraction, and entertainment—whether that’s at the doctor’s office, in an emergency room, or any family medical center,” she explained.
In addition to her work in children’s publishing, Curry is an established

author in the dark romance genre under the same name. Her upcoming psychological thriller, Open Fire: The Flames of Betrayal, marks her latest contribution to this field and reflects her versatility as a storyteller.

Curry is also expanding her presence in early education with live story hours in classrooms and libraries. These interactive sessions bring her stories to life, encouraging early reading habits and reinforcing her commitment to community engagement and literacy development.
